I think it would be better for both LWs for them to separate. LW2 is not a safe person for LW1. He is actively interfering in her medical care. His behavior appears driven, at least in part, by fear, confusion, and lack of trust. I can't say how well founded any of his suspicions are, but I can say none of those factors make for a healthy relationship. Both these LWs would be better off apart.
