" which made me roll my eyes a bit. I really appreciate how a big part of this answer is not only encouraging one to use one's own judgement but showing how to do it. Using one's own judgement is absolutely not "coming to the most comfortable conclusion for me" and it's that latter that I think the so-called "admonition to suspend one's own judgement" was (in whatever its first form was ) meant to guide people from doing.
